Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A search entered in a page search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that box. St. Francois County Court Docket does not maintain a database of those search terms or use them to create court-record profiles.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message to the private site operator, the message and its contact details may be retained to respond or address an operational matter. They are not published as court information. Information may be disclosed when a valid legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, the hosting and analytics systems can receive technical information generated by a visit.
- Internet protocol address and general device connection data
- Browser, operating-system, and device information
- Pages requested, referring page, and time of visit
- Basic performance and error information
- Cookie or similar identifier data where enabled
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies can help measure page performance and navigation. A browser can block or remove cookies, though some third-party features may not behave as expected after that choice. Analytics information is used in aggregate to maintain and improve the reference resource.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and message data may be used to operate the service, protect it from misuse, understand page performance, respond to communications, and send a query to the outside provider chosen by the visitor. It is not used to decide a person's eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or a similar consumer purpose.
No Court-Record Data on File
St. Francois County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a court-docket or personal case-record database. It publishes general research about where official records are held, including Missouri Case.net, the St. Francois County Circuit Clerk, and city municipal-court contacts. The official record remains with the court or clerk that maintains it. This resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are supplied by third parties. A provider's privacy practices, retention period, pricing, and security controls are governed by that provider's own policy. Review that policy before entering information into its service. The presence of a search box does not make its output an official court record.
Links to Other Websites
Links to Missouri Courts, the St. Francois County government, statutes, city courts, and other external resources leave this private resource. The receiving service controls its own privacy practices and availability. Review its terms before submitting personal information or relying on any result.
Advertising or referral partners may use their own technologies on their own services. Those activities are not controlled by the court-reference content.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited information may be processed by service providers that host the pages, measure traffic, transmit a selected search query, or provide advertising functionality. It can also be disclosed to a government body or other recipient when required by valid law, process, or a necessary security response.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information handled by the private site operator. No online system can promise absolute security. Do not submit Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or other sensitive identifiers through a general contact channel. The St. Francois County Circuit Clerk's own contact form gives a similar warning for official county communications.
Users Under 18
This resource is not designed to collect personal information from children. If the operator learns that a person under 18 supplied personal information through a direct message, reasonable steps will be taken to remove it where practical.
Your Data Rights
A visitor may ask about personal information provided directly to the private operator, request correction of an inaccurate contact detail, or request deletion where retention is not required. These rights do not change the public-access status of a court record. Missouri court-record access is governed by Court Operating Rule 4, confidentiality rules, and applicable law. A public-government-record request can be directed to the proper custodian under Missouri Sunshine Law ยง610.023, not to this private resource.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as services, legal requirements, or practices change. The current version takes effect when posted. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
